This Privacy Policy explains how Config Compare (the "App") processes data when you use it.

1. What data the App processes

Depending on which features you use, the App may process:

• Jira project configuration data for company-managed Jira Software projects (for example: workflows, workflow schemes, custom fields and contexts, and screen references)
• Snapshot metadata such as project key and export timestamp
• The Change note you enter when archiving a snapshot
• Jira issue/attachment identifiers created during archiving

The App does not intentionally collect end-user personal data beyond what may already exist in Jira or what you enter into the Change note field.

2. Where data is stored

• When you choose Create snapshot & archive to Jira, the snapshot JSON is stored as a Jira issue attachment in your Jira site.
• Snapshot details (including your Change note) are stored in the Jira issue summary/description created by the App.

The App is designed so that operational data remains within your Atlassian environment.

3. Data sharing

The App does not sell your data. The App does not share your data with third parties except as required to operate within Atlassian's platform and infrastructure.

4. Data retention and deletion

Snapshots are stored as Jira issues and attachments in your site. You control retention:

• Delete the created Jira issues/attachments to remove archived snapshots.
