How to use (Config Diff / Drift)

Open the app

  1. In Jira, go to Settings (⚙️) → Apps → Config Diff / Drift.
  2. You should see the app page with Start / Reports / Settings tabs.

Run a 1-minute drift check (recommended)

  1. On the Start tab, select a project.
  2. Click Run 1-minute check on \<PROJECT_KEY\>.
  3. The app generates a report and shows a View details button—click it to open the report in the Reports tab.

Tip: If there is no default baseline yet, the app may prompt you to auto-create one—confirm to continue.

Create and manage baselines (advanced)Use this when you want to control which workflows are included in the baseline.

  1. On the Start tab, expand Advanced.
  2. Select one or more workflows.
  3. (Optional) Enter a Baseline name.
  4. Click Save baseline.
  5. In the success message, click Set as default baseline.
  6. Click Compare with default baseline to generate a drift report against the default baseline.
